Assist with sheath removals once successfully completing competencies. Assist with procedural preps as instructed by TPC Nurse. Complete other duties as assigned (i.e. stocking med room, carts, and other supply areas). Assist unit as needed in noninvasive procedures (i.e. foley catheter removal, INT removal, simple dressing changes, and etc.) under the supervision and direction of TPC Nurse, Charge nurse or Director. Assist in blood glucose monitoring once successfully completing competencies. What Qualifications You Will Need: High School Diploma or GED. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary. 0 - 2 years' experience as a nurse's assistant in a healthcare setting. Current BLS.
