Qualifications (Minimum qualifications will be considered required unless specifically stated otherwise) Experience: Minimum of one 1 year C.N.A Experience. Home Health or Hospice experience is preferred. Understands hospice philosophy, and issues of death/dying. Education and Training: (Acquired through formal education, outside study, training on jobs of lesser degree, or by any combination of these. May be expressed in terms of formal educational equivalents): High school diploma or equivalent Satisfactory completion of training program approved by MDPH for HCA-III and other regulators License, Certification & Registration: Possesses and maintains current CPR Certification. Nursing Assistant certification. CHPNA Certified Hospice and Palliative Nursing Assistant preferred. Valid driver's license Other Requirements: Participates in the rotation of on-call schedule including weekends and holidays.
