Position Summary The role of the Certified Nursing Aide reports clerically to the Center Manager. This position, under supervision of the Registered Nurse is responsible for assisting with living and safety needs of PACE participants. Refer to and follow dietary orders for participant meals * Follow and assist with emergency procedures of PACE center * Assist with transfer and follows transfer and ambulation order of participants * Ensure participants are comfortable and privacy is maintained in all interactions, including other participants and staff * Function as a member of the interdisciplinary team and collaborate regarding care planning and service allocation decisions, as appropriate * Complete all documentation requirements in the medical record in a timely fashion; according to policy * Support quality improvement efforts * Protect privacy and maintain confidentiality of employee, participant, and sensitive agency information Qualifications * Education: High School Diploma or GED * Licensure and Certifications: CPR, required. Certification as Nursing Assistant, required. The Dining Room Assistant will remove used tableware between courses, and they will clear and reset the tables after guests leave. May require independent judgment in the disposition of routine matters without direct supervision. Will work under the direct supervision of the Restaurant Manager REQUIREMENTS, ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Obtains service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
