Position Overview The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) for patients residing in skilled nursing or RCFE communities and at home. As a representative of Care Indeed, the CNA is expected to demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and respect, acting as a brand ambassador in all interactions.     Job Summary and Responsibilities Under the direction of the registered Nurse, performs general tasks of patient care and tasks specific to TCU, M/S, ARU transport, in accordance with Dominican Hospital policies and procedures. Delivers care to the patient including adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Incumbents in this position shall comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and Dignity Health policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities, seek guidance when in doubt, promptly report any potential or suspected violation of Dignity Health Standards of Conduct, Dignity Health policy or procedure or applicable laws/regulations and when requested, assist Dignity Health personnel in investigating all allegations of violation. When called upon, the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement, monitor and mitigate risk corrective pans outlined by the Compliance program. Job Requirements Minimum Qualifications: * Completion of a formal Nurse Assistant program. * CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (CT CNA) * BASIC LIFE SUPPORT-AHA (CT CPRBLS) * 12-lead EKG. * Finger stick blood glucose.
