JOB DESCRIPTION Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)'s strive to always maintain patient comfort and safety and well-being. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)s monitor vitals and patient behavior, report findings to the nursing and medical staff, assisting patients with mobility needs, bathing, and personal care. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) acts as companion to patients and accompanying them on walks or other activities they enjoy, documenting information, cleaning rooms and bed linens, stocking supplies. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists with safety and some medical procedures. Responsibilities: • Observing and reporting any changes in a child's physical condition, behavior, or social interactions with others • Preparing equipment and supplies needed for examinations and treatments • Cleaning and sterilizing equipment used during examinations or treatments • Helping with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting • Explaining procedures to children and parents, as well as providing reassurance during difficult procedures • Providing hands-on care for children who are ill or injured, including changing bandages and administering medications REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: • Contract length: 13 weeks or longer • Required Certifications: CNA of state MA • Years of Experience: 2 years or more in field • Valid State license in hand. • BLS • Covid card
