Verifies with 2 patient identifiers. · Observes for / recognizes untoward reactions to prescribed therapies/diagnostic procedures. · Reports amount, color, and characteristics of gastric output to the nurse. · Performs ostomy care. · Performs peri care for patients with catheters every shift and PRN.
