Medical Assistant Position Overview:
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in patient care and support within our practice. Administrative Support: Ensure patient records are maintained accurately and confidentially. Ensure patient charts are closed by end of week
Inventory Management: Assist in managing medical supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring all necessary items are stocked and prepared for procedures. Ensure product charted matches product added as consumed which matches remaining product in fridge.
Collaboration: Work closely with the clinicians to ensure seamless patient flow and excellent patient experiences. Constant monitoring of front office and patient rooms to ensure needs are met where back log is most present.
Compliance: Uphold safety and hygiene standards in accordance with healthcare regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Appointment Management: Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently using our scheduling software. Ensure that the appointment calendar is organized, optimized, and up-to-date.
Payment Processing: Handle patient payments and inquiries accurately and confidentially.
Front Desk Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area. Ensure that all necessary materials, forms, and supplies are readily available.
Communication: Collaborate effectively with the team to relay important patient information and ensure seamless patient flow.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical role is required; experience in medical aesthetics is a plus.
Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to aesthetic treatments is an advantage.
