The Registered Nurse provides quality and professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. Under the supervision of the Clinic Nurse Director and Physician assess patient symptoms and communicate with physician regarding assessment.

Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of continuous experience in a clinic setting. Cardiac experience preferred.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOME HEALTH AIDE (HHA)
As a nursing aide in healthcare, you play an essential role in providing services that are ordered by the physician and follow along with a patient's plan of care. You conduct a range of hands-on personal care for each patient, which includes assisting them with bathing, oral care, hair care, shaving, nail care, and dressing. Other responsibilities you partake in involve performing simple nursing or therapy procedures and assisting with ambulation or exercises as well as administering medications. You also help patients with cooking and other feeding needs when necessary.
In addition, you take vital signs and notify the nurse of any changes in the patient's condition or needs. At times, you assist with transferring patients and conducting rehab services after therapy as well as providing relevant instructions to your patient. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOME HEALTH AIDE (HHA)
As a nursing aide in healthcare, you play an essential role in providing services that are ordered by the physician and follow along with a patient's plan of care. Physical Requirements:
This job requires excellent physical and mental health. The CMA must be able to obtain and record the resident's temperature, pulse, respiration rate and blood pressure. The CMA must be able to lift, stoop, carry, turn, and assist high-risk residents, push medication carts and be willing and able to work a flexible work schedule. Must be able to lift, push, and carry 40 pounds with 2 hands. Must also be able to lift, push, and carry 20 pounds with 1 hand.
The CMA must be able to sit, stand, bend and move frequently during work hours.
Qualifications/Education:
This employee must have successfully completed course work and examinations to obtain certification as both CertifiedNurseAssistant and Certified Medication Aide. The CMA must obtain continuing education credits as required by the state to maintain certification as a CMA and must provide evidence of continued certification to the facility in a timely and accurate manner. Candidate must demonstrate a moderate level of computer literacy in order to use and access our systems and tools within our facilities to complete online tasks and documentation. Job Knowledge
The CMA must possess knowledge of safe medication administration technique and demonstrate this knowledge with a medication error rate of 5% or below.
