What You'll Be Doing:
As a Caregiver, you'll provide non-medical support to clients in their own homes, helping them live independently. Duties include:
Daily Living Support: Medication reminders, meal prep, light housekeeping, and laundry.
Transportation: Drive clients to appointments or errands.
Personal Caregiving (some, but not all clients): Help with dressing, bathing, and other personal needs. Special training provided at your discretion.

Ensures cleanliness of assigned residents' rooms.
Properly maintains and records use of resident restraints.

Attends and participates in orientation, training, educational activities, and staff meetings.
Maintains resident confidentiality.
Treats residents with kindness, dignity, and respect.

JOB SUMMARY

Performs laboratory procedures (i.e., strep test, wound culture, specimen collection, etc.) using principles of aseptic technique and standard precautions/infection control guidelines.

Communicates with Physician/APC and other members of the health care team to ensure smooth clinic flow and adjusts as necessary. Effectively communicates accurate and timely information with the patient.
Must perform basic and advanced clinical support tasks or skills based on the specialty and appropriate competencies such as but not limited to removal of sutures and staples, laboratory procedures (throat/nose culture, drug screen), phlebotomy - butterfly, venous heel stick, EKG, spirometry, Holter monitor application, prescription refills using approved protocols, etc., under clinical supervision.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Are you responsible, independent, and interested in gaining experience in veterinary medicine? If so, Cedarburg Veterinary Clinic has a job opportunity for you! We are looking for a Kennel Assistant to join our team, where you will assist in caring for animals, help maintain the clinic's appearance, and gain experience in the veterinary field.
While weekend and holiday availability is part of the role, you will not be scheduled for every weekend or holiday. Our team shares these responsibilities fairly and aims to rotate weekends and holidays whenever possible.
Position Details:
Minimum Age: 16 years
Hours per Week: Approx. 10 hours
Working Schedule:
Saturday: 7:30 a.m. to about 12:30 p.m. & 4:00 p.m. to about 5:30 p.m.
Sunday: 8:00 a.m. to about 9:30 a.m. & 4:00 p.m. to about 5:30 p.m.
Weekdays: Monday-Friday, 3:30 p.m. to about 6:45 p.m.
Weekends and Holidays: Occasionally required
Qualifications:
A self-starter with attention to detail
Comfortable around animals
Prior experience with animals preferred
Able to work as part of a team
Reliable and punctual

Starting wage: $12.00/hour
