Key Responsibilities:
Assist in cardiovascular surgeries including CABG, valve procedures, aortic surgery, and vascular bypass.
Perform conduit harvesting (endoscopic or open), suturing, hemostasis, and tissue handling.
Prepare, position, and drape patients for surgery; maintain clear operative exposure.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, perfusion, and OR staff.
Support postoperative closure, documentation, and patient safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Certified Surgical Assistant with cardiovascular specialty (CCSA/CVCSA/CSA/RSA).
Experience in cardiovascular or cardiothoracic surgery preferred.
