My name is Akira Augustus. I am a patient care assistant also known as a PC A. The role of a patient care assistant is to get the patients as well as the family ready for surgery. Pretty much just trying to make sure that they're, that they're comfortable and they know what to expect before the surgery. And after I go in the patient's room, tell them my name and I kinda give them a rundown on what to expect throughout the day. It's my job to get them prepared for the best life outside of the hospital. The people that I work with are, they're amazing. Human kindness for me means family. Here. We try to make people feel like family. I always say I don't have a job. I have a passion. You just have to be willing to be willing to help you wanna see AAA CHANGE or a difference in a person. Those qualities make a great PC A. No.
