Performs routine tests such as dipstick, blood finger stick glucose, and INR according to policy/best practice and expected service standards while always adhering to participants' rights. At all times, provides services according to established safety procedures and infection control standards as per OSHA and CLHC Health Services policy and procedure and provides services with due regard for the health, safety, and well-being of the participant. At all times, maintains strict confidentiality of any/all participant information. Transports participants via wheelchair or accompanies ambulatory patients within the Pace Center to and from Diagnostic Treatment Center Transfers and offers assistance during transferring of participants into and out of wheelchairs, toilets, beds, and other equipment (e.g., Hoyer lift) Assist participants requiring help with toileting and other ADL care Assist MD as requested, including translation and set up of equipment for examination and clean up when necessary Understands that they are responsible for seeking feedback, instruction, and/or additional education with regard to any/all aspects of their job responsibilities that are not clear Translate as needed Assists with customer issues and grievances in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner. This includes working with the other departments to resolve the source of the problem(s).
