The Student Nurse Technician, under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), will provide high-quality cost-effective care to an individual or group of patients. Appropriate measures are taken to escort patients into and out of the hospital Adheres to Infection Control Policy and OSHA Standards related to Standard Precautions. Reports faulty and/or dangerous equipment. Initiates appropriate communication documents (clinical or maintenance requests) in required reporting systems. Assists the care team during emergency situations; May perform chest compressions, maintain crowd control, or be used as a runner to gather equipment during a patient code. Assists with keeping patient rooms stocked with supplies.
Nonessential Functions: Must submit nursing school transcripts to include documentation of clinical skills.
