Escorts patients to exam rooms and prepares for the medical provider. Collects blood, tissue or other laboratory specimens as requested by medical provider and prepares them for testing. Prepares and administers medications as directed by medical provider. Translates and explains treatment procedures, medications, diets and medical provider's instructions to patients. Performs blood draws, administers immunizations and injections. Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat, clean and fully stocked. Cleans and sterilizes instruments and disposes of any contaminated supplies. Changes dressings on wounds. Contacts medical facilities or departments to schedule patients' tests and/or admissions (on as-needed basis). Performs general office duties such as answering phones and completing forms when necessary. Takes inventory and orders medical, lab and office supplies and equipment. Maintains logs for recall purposes. Performs routine laboratory tests and performs daily testing controls. Operates electrocardiogram (EKG), and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests. Adheres to and follows universal precautions. Adheres to and follows established nursing policies, procedures and practices. Rotates to other Health Centers as needed. The Position The Resident Aide ensures that the interim housing site is a safe, healthy and therapeutic environment. Resident Aides are responsible for assisting clients with increasing independence with activities of daily living and assists clients in adhering to program policies and procedures. This position reports to the Interim Housing Program Supervisor. A successful Resident Aide takes responsibility for the health and safety of our clients and is able to develop strong rapport with clients, encouraging them to engage in treatment. The base pay for this role is $22.00. The hourly rate listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location. Assistant Buyer Intern Perform the administrative & operational functions supporting a designated buyer. Handle purchase order management and administration, as well as process markdowns. This includes writing orders, changes, cancellations and necessary follow-up (both internally and externally) to ensure key shipments are delivered and processed. Analyze and interpret key business issues as directed by supervisor including the monitoring of regional merchandise reports, Open-to-Buy monitoring, and stock analysis. Develop effective relationships with vendors. This includes appropriate level of interaction with vendors in terms of both problem resolution and follow-up. Demonstrate the ability to effectively utilize the merchandising systems and understand warehouse processes. Includes utilizing systems and preparation of reporting to allow for interpretation of the business. Demonstrate product knowledge through sharing information with buyer as a result of competitive shopping, shopping Ross Stores, and the market.
