Responsibilities
Assists Registered Nurse with care of patients by observation and recording of cardiac rhythms according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols, under the supervision of the RN and within the scope of their certification
Accurately identifies cardiac dysrhythmias
Communicates any changes to the appropriate persons, and records rhythm strips every four hours and with any change in rhythm.
Provides other nursing units with a summary of telemetry activity at the end of each shift.
Provides direct patient care and assists in required duties to assure the delivery of holistic care, patient dignity, and quality of life to each patient.
Contributes to the assessment of health status by collecting and recording objective and subjective data.
Completes all documentation within departmental requirements and timelines
Greets and acknowledges all customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
Participates in the responsible management of all departmental/hospital resources
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
High School or GED.
Current CNA Certification in the State of Idaho.
