If you go to college in NJ and have a flexible class schedule that will allow you to work some day games in April and May during the week and will allow you to balance working games and class schedules in April, May, June and September and want a fun part time summer job working with top prospects in Minor League Baseball, this is your chance to be part of our team. Clubhouse Attendants will Assist the Director of Clubhouse Operations and NY Yankees Double -A Clubhouse Manager with Pre-Game Setup and Post Game Duties in the clubhouse. In game, clubhouse attendants may work in the home or visiting dugout running bats and equipment to the players and balls to the umpires. Candidates will learn inventory management for supplies and will assist with ordering and stocking of supplies throughout the course of the summer Previous experience working in a professional clubhouse or colligate locker room setting, would be a plus. Duties could include, but are not limited to: Pre-game set up/Post-game break down, Collecting Bats and Equipment in game and after game Running Balls to the umpires in between at bats and collecting balls that are discarded by the umpires in between innings in a quick and efficient manner Assisting with the Laundering Uniforms (players, coaches and umpires) Assisting with Pre and Post game meals (set-up and break down) Meeting the teams when they arrive to assist with getting their equipment and uniforms loaded into the ballpark and ready for the series and assisting with breaking down on getaway days Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining in the clubhouse before and approximately 90 minutes after games on both the home and visiting sides Run errands off site as needed Requirements: Must be willing and able to work long hours, including early mornings, nights, weekends, school nights, and holidays Must be able to operate successfully in a fast-paced professional sports environment Candidates must be able to interact professionally with Front Office Members, Players, Coaches, and Umpires Candidates should be 18 or older and have reliable transportation available to them at their own expense Compensation: Hourly Pay and College Credit where applicable.
