Salary Information
Starting pay of $25.82 per hour, plus excellent benefits*. Additional compensation for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Pay upon appointment for current or eligible former State employees will be in accordance with the Wisconsin Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code. Future increases will be in accordance with the Wisconsin Compensation Plan.
* Positions that are at least 60% time are eligible for an attractive benefits package.
Sign-on bonus of $3000 for eligible employees. A $3,000 sign-on bonus applies to those with no prior state service in the last five years, who stay with the facility in the position until completing probation. The bonus will be split, $1500 upon hire and $1500 after completing probation.
The classification title for these positions is NursingAssistant 2. These positions are in pay schedule-range 06-11 and are non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. A 12-month probationary period may be required.

The CertifiedNursingAssistant (CNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional. The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Prefer one year experience as a certifiednursingassistant within the last three years
+ Graduate from certifiednursingassistant program with subsequent documentation as a certifiednursingassistant per state requirements with proof of verification as being an active certification and in good-standing
+ Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
