Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Hospice Aide to join our full-time hospice team. This role is ideal for caregivers who are committed to providing personal care and emotional support to patients during end-of-life care.
As a Hospice Aide, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and play a vital role in maintaining patient comfort, safety, and dignity. You will also serve as a reassuring presence for families during a sensitive and meaningful time.

Responsibilities
Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, positioning, and comfort measures
Observe and report changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse
Support patient safety and dignity during daily care activities
Provide emotional support to patients and families
Document care provided accurately and timely in the EMR system
Follow infection control standards and hospice care guidelines
Collaborate with the hospice interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications
Qualifications
Active Hospice Aide or CertifiedNursingAssistant (CNA) certification in Michigan
Previous hospice or home health experience required

Reliable transportation and ability to travel within assigned areas
Ability to work independently while maintaining high care standards
