Maintains updated knowledge of cardiac medications, formularies, and pharmacy processes. 6. Accurately updates and documents patient medications and allergies in patient record. 7. Reviews and educates patients regarding their medications within scope of practice. 8. Ensures the sample medications closets are: inventoried, cleaned and date labeled appropriately at multiple locations. 9. Acts as liaison between physicians, staff and pharmaceutical reps to receive medication samples, patient assistant program information, and educational material at multiple locations. TRAVEL Local travel to other Tri City Cardiology locations is required during the business day. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience/Licenses/Certifications High school diploma or GED required. Certified Pharmacy Technician One year of Pharmacy Tech experience required.
