Sanitation and Safety Compliance Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized workspace, performing routine cleaning of tools, equipment, and the compounding area. Team Collaboration Train, mentor, and oversee junior technicians on proper techniques, calculations, and protocols. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations including USP , OSHA, and internal SOPs. Coordinate with QA, Pharmacists, and Inventory teams to ensure timely and accurate production. Maintain accurate documentation for compounding, cleaning logs, equipment calibration, and inventory usage. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and internal audits. Qualifications Fluent in English; bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred. Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician License. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Flexible work schedule, including weekends. Proven ability to compound a wide range of dosage forms accurately and efficiently. Strong knowledge of USP and requirements, including HD safety protocols. High level of attention to detail and precision. Excellent understanding of safe handling, PPE usage, and containment practices for hazardous drugs. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficient in pharmaceutical calculations and measurement accuracy. Ability to follow complex instructions and SOPs. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Proven experience in preparing a variety of dosage forms including RDTs, nasal sprays, and semi-solid formulations. Additional Skills (Preferred) Ongoing continuing education in non-sterile compounding highly desirable. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems. Experience in a compounding pharmacy or healthcare environment. Environment and Physical Demands Cleanroom environment. Requires the ability to read, hear, speak, keyboard, reason, and problem solve. Requires prolonged standing. Requires use of compounding equipment such as balances, pH meters, high-shear mixers, blenders, and ovens. Normal vision range required.
