Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 (IV Compounding) 2nd (Evening) Shift The Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 (IV Compounding) will be responsible for maintaining all unit-dose medications required for daily dispensing from the Omnicell automated IV equipment. The Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 will prepare and maintain the Omnicell IV automated equipment for daily use, perform advanced equipment troubleshooting, maintain optimal medication inventory levels, review / maintain reports. Automation Pharmacy Technician IV will engage with various levels of customer service by identifying and addressing any customer concerns and report to the Pharmacy Services Manager. Responsibilities Perform IV automation tasks in an aseptic, error free manner, consistent with prescribed guidelines. Perform IV automation equipment cleaning and maintenance. Follow Safe Handling of Hazardous Drugs procedures when handling medications. Responsible for identifying/ordering medications to ensure medication inventories are at optimal levels.
