Key Responsibilities: Assists the pharmacist in the dispensing of prescriptions, counting, packaging and labeling unit doses for inspection by pharmacist. Checks in items ordered and received, places stock on shelves or in refrigerator, when required. Fills bins with prescription vials and ensures adequate supplies of ancillary items required for prescription dispensing are available. Maintains the cleanness and accuracy of pump and/or other devices in the pharmacy according to the company policy. Assists purchasers with maintaining medication supplies by reporting when items are near or below par level. Checks stock to remove outdated items. Performs audit related activities.
