Duties and Responsibilities: The Pharmacy Technician will perform various duties, including but not limited to data entry, organizing deliveries and managing delivery areas, performing insurance eligibility checks, fixing billing errors, processing and posting account payments, and other tasks as required. If requested, he/she may be called to assist with inventory assistance and/or scheduling patient prescription deliveries. You will also be scheduling patient refills, filling and packaging medications, re-ordering inventory, and typing prescriptions. Respond to inquiries in person and over the phone. Process necessary prescription, insurance, and customer information Prepare accurate orders for the pharmacy technician and/or pharmacist to fill File prescriptions and records on occasion Perform various clerical duties as needed.
