Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform computer entry of prescription information including but not limited to: patient search, prescriber search, drug selection, prescription interpretation and entry and basic problem resolution. Accept customer and prescription information required to process refill prescriptions, including refill authorization and prior authorizations from doctor offices where permitted by state law and Health West protocol. Perform all functions and duties of a Pharmacy Technician in the retail pharmacy setting when called upon to do so. Resolves patient issues and answers questions to ensure a positive patient experience.
