Regulatory Compliance & Documentation * Maintain required records for compassionate drug programs, clinical trials, biohazard waste, and related pharmacy processes. * Ensure compliance with all federal/state laws, patient privacy regulations, OSHA standards, and organizational policies. 4. Training & Collaboration * Assist in training new pharmacy technicians and nursing staff on chemotherapy preparation and Nucleus system workflows. * Collaborate with nurses, physicians, supervisors, and pharmaceutical representatives as needed to support patient care and operational needs. 5. Operational Flexibility & Professional Responsibilities * Support operations across multiple locations as needed and work overtime when required. * Participate in mandatory meetings, including annual Safety/OSHA training. Position Title: Pharmacy Technician QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Valid Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Virginia is required. 1-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or recommendation from a pharmacy training program instructor. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce and client base. Experience with information technology, electronic health records, and medical records or candidate that is computer savvy or comfortable working with various software programs and operating a computer preferred. Prefer candidate who is familiar with culturally diverse populations and cares for underserved populations. Seeking candidate fluent in Spanish. Knowledge of patient assistance programs and the pharmacy connection online software beneficial. Candidate familiar with common drug names and their functions would be ideal. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate is required.

1st shift. 8 hour shift that would start between 9am-11am Overtime Work • Not required, but may be necessary occasionally to ensure timely prescription release. Weekend and Holiday Work • Required to work every other weekend and some holidays. Team Composition • Collaborative team environment with pharmacists, technicians, and clerks working together to ensure timely prescription fulfillment. Pharmacy Floor Technician Picking, labeling, scanning and otherwise preparing the finished prescription for final verification by a pharmacist Responsibilities: Fills daily drug orders accurately and efficiently in a timely manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist Assists in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure Assist in prepacking frequently ordered medications, label and store, as needed during low volume times Packages materials and products manually Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (prepack racks) Applies labels to blister cards and then scans product for accuracy check Alerts pharmacist on duty of any medication/product that is not scanning properly Maintains designated workstation areas and replenishes all stock supplies needed Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPPA Overtime, holidays and weekends may be required and/or expected Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code. Other duties as assigned Minimum (Required): (must be met in order to perform the job at the required level) High School diploma or equivalent Ability to work at a moderate speed Ability to read, write, speak and understand English Possess and Maintain a Clear and Active MD Pharmacy Technician License issued by MD Board of Pharmacy Preferred: (if above and beyond the minimum required) Previous pharmacy technician experience Physical Demands: May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day. May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day. May be necessary to work extended hours as needed. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
