Description and Functions Open Until Filled GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Wyoming Department of Health, Healthcare Financing Division, Medication Donation Program is seeking a Wyoming Licensed Pharmacy Technician. The Wyoming Medication Donation Program (WMDP) is a closed-door retail pharmacy, operating as a charitable/non-profit healthcare entity, located in Cheyenne. The main goals of the WMDP are to improve medication access to uninsured/underinsured Wyoming residents by redistributing usable medications, processing donations made to the program, and providing disposal for unused medications in an environmentally friendly manner. Under the direction of a pharmacist, a pharmacy technician will primarily provide patient services under the scope of the program. Additionally, a pharmacy technician will support essential program functions and administrative/periodic duties as required or assigned.
