* Bi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Responsible for managing nightly company operations, including communication with drivers and customers.
Review and follow-up on all driver, customer and equipment open items from the following shift.
Review and update dispatch board with driver assignments to ensure all loads are dispatched and detailed information on assigned loads is relayed and completely understood on each move, per contractual agreement with the customer(s)
Manage driver assignments and load service needs by reviewing, analyzing and coming to a decision on how best to manage the issue.
Assign or re-direct loads and communicate direction to drivers, at their discretion, to best service the customer and company's needs.
Engage customer if it is decided that on time service will be compromised.
Manage mechanical breakdown issues by leading coordination between maintenance staff and drivers.
Issue advances to drivers.
Negotiate with customer and vendor points of contact regarding ad hoc needs.
Negotiate ad hoc rates.
Accept or Reject freight offers as needed in the best interest of the company and customers service requirements.
Adhere to all company, state and federal regulations, policies and procedures. Direct drivers to do the same.
Engage and communicate important accident information by effectively coordinating with local Law Enforcement, Safety management and Road Service teams.
Effectively report escalation issues to Senior Management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively both in person and on the phone with customers, vendors and drivers; providing concise instruction or information.
Ability to develop relationships with customer and vendor points of contact.
Ability to manage driver and customer issues directing solutions to drivers and customers that are in the best interest for both the company and customer.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Ability to self-manage.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for providing general clerical and accounting support for live and/or production operations for assigned location (processing plant, hatchery and/or feed mill).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:
Under general supervision, provide clerical support (i.e. filing, copying, track absences, and occurrences, etc.) for assigned department or location
Collect and compile required data, (i.e. shift production, yields, efficiencies, flock movement data, prescription usage, headcount, inspections, egg and hatch transactions, mortality rates, etc.), enter into correct software database system (Adage M-Tech etc.) or spreadsheet, prepare reports for department/location,
Partner with Accounting personnel to verify and balance inventories; report variances to appropriate personnel
Gather and report Agristat data in an accurate and timely manner
Perform other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is an Individual Contributor role with required competencies: Functional/Technical Skills, Action Oriented, Problem Solving, Learning on the Fly, and Interpersonal Savvy
EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Minimum one (1) years relevant clerical and accounts payable or accounts receivable experience; A/P or A/R experience within a manufacturing setting preferred
Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate with internal and external customers in a timely and professional manner
Must have exceptional communication, both verbal and written, attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
Proficient computer and math skills
Self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative and sense of urgency, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail
Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
