    Job Description CEXEC, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, results-oriented VoIP System Engineer. The incumbent will have experience with strategy, technology, strategic messaging long term thinking. The VoIP System Engineer will provide strategic engineering, technical and program office support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as they consider benefits new and emerging technologies will provide balanced by the security vulnerabilities those technologies will introduce into the support organization. Roles and Responsibilities: Perform highly complex testing and analyze network systems development including integration, systems testing, probability testing, field test plans and customer acceptance plans to maintain the credibility/viability of the system. Perform system integration, testing, and troubleshooting of VoIP platforms to ensure reliability and compliance with FAA standards. Monitor and optimize VoIP network performance, quality of service (QoS), and security protocols to meet stringent operational requirements. Support FAA's migration and upgrade initiatives related to VoIP technologies and telecommunication systems. Stay current with emerging VoIP technologies and recommend improvements to enhance FAA communication capabilities. Investigate and report complex operational matters of significance in conjunction with other engineering and technical support to ensure cost effective and efficient resolution to problems. Provide software hardening and documentation of systems. Provide technical expertise and guidance in design, development, implementation, and maintenance of test processes and diagnostic programs for systems testing. Support Leads and consult with client management on complex systems; determine system requirements; recommend process and/or program improvement, coordinate with project team and follow through on implementation. Design and develop test plans, procedures and tools. Conduct customer-witnessed testing and document results. Provide guidance to less experienced team members. Organize and maintain baseline regression procedures in support of operational releases. Support Operational patch testing, including system and adaptation changes. Basic Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or Math) and 6 to 15 years of relevant work experience. Experience using Linux (system design, implementation including performance optimization) Experience in system networking Experience in system security Experience using software testing tools such as RTC, RQM, DOORS, and SQL. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability. Experience with VoIP troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, protocol analyzers). Experience with FAA standards. Salary at CEXEC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected total compensation range (monetary and non-monetary) nationally for this position is $95,948 to $295,914 (annualized USD). The incumbent will support UAS technical projects for the FAA Program Management Office, providing systems engineering support to all phases of the program management life cycle. Responsibilities Leading systems engineering for PMO; overseeing and helping to direct development teams, integration, and fielding processes. Implementing test plan, mitigation plans, and delivery plans. Preparing design documents and presentations. Clearly describing the design, including rationale for decision and implications of decisions.
