Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services, in partnership with CFG Health Network, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Part-Time Psychiatrist to provide direct in-person psychiatric care for two community-based teams located in Little Falls, NJ. This role offers a consistent once-per-week, in-person schedule while supporting adults living with serious mental illness in a recovery-oriented model. This role can be fulfilled by one or two providers.
The ideal candidate thrives in collaborative, community-based care, enjoys working in the field, and is committed to delivering high-quality psychiatric services.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing medication management.
* Deliver medication counseling and psychoeducation in collaboration with the treatment team.
* Work in the field alongside a staff partner to assess and support individuals in community settings (home visits, community sites, etc.).
* Coordinate care with Bridgeway team members-including clinicians, nurses, and case managers-to ensure comprehensive treatment planning.
* Participate in team meetings, documentation, and follow-up as needed for continuity of care.
* Maintain accurate EMR documentation in accordance with CFG and Bridgeway standards.
* Support a recovery-focused, person-centered care model.
Schedule & Structure
* Total: 15.5 hours per week
* 7.5 hours with Program/Team A
* 8 hours with Program/Team B
* All services must be performed in person at the Little Falls site.
* Some time will be spent in the field conducting community-based evaluations with a staff partner.
Qualifications
* MD or DO with board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry (if finished residency within 5 years).
* Valid New Jersey medical license and CDS/DEA registrations.
* Experience with community-based or mobile treatment models preferred.

Required Knowledge and Experience
Completion of an AVMA-accredited technician program with certification
Excellent client communication skills
Detail-oriented and a self-starter
Must demonstrate ability to prioritize and multi-task
Working knowledge of routine diagnostic testing and radiology, anesthesia administration and monitoring, dentistry, nursing care, catheter placement, and venipuncture

The base hourly range for this position is $22.00-$30.00. Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position.
