You will be the primary point of accountability for IT across the organization, overseeing vendor partners, supporting ERP and acquisition activity, and ensuring infrastructure, security, and data environments scale with the business. You are not expected to be day-to-day technical support, but you must understand the technology deeply enough to lead confidently, ask the right questions, and make informed decisions. Key Responsibilities Serve as the senior internal IT leader and primary partner to the CFO and executive team Own relationships with multiple Managed Service Providers (MSPs) driving accountability, service quality, and cost control Lead IT strategy, governance, and roadmap development aligned with business growth and risk mitigation Lead IT consolidation projects across acquired companies, including Microsoft 365 and other shared environments. Oversee infrastructure, cybersecurity posture, and vendor-delivered support across all locations Support and participate in the ongoing Acumatica ERP implementation and rollout across four operating companies Lead IT integration efforts for future acquisitions, creating repeatable onboarding and systems integration playbooks Partner with finance and operations on reporting, data structure, and system alignment Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on technology decisions impacting growth, compliance, and operational efficiency Background Profile: The ideal candidate is a senior IT leader who has grown up in mid-sized, service-oriented organizations, understands vendor-led IT models, and thrives in environments that are still being built. You are comfortable operating without a large internal team, confident managing external partners, and capable of scaling IT as the company grows. 8+ years of progressive IT leadership or senior IT management experience Proven success managing MSPs and third-party vendors in a distributed environment Strong understanding of infrastructure, security, and enterprise IT operations Experience supporting ERP systems and system integrations (Acumatica strongly preferred) Ability to operate autonomously while partnering closely with executive leadership Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills High integrity, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively with executives and operations teams. Preferred Experience in construction, roofing, general contracting, or field service organizations Exposure to timekeeping, job costing, WIP reporting, and field workforce systems Experience supporting multi-entity or acquisition-driven businesses Private equity-backed company experience Bilingual (English/Spanish).
