This professional nurse assumes administrative responsibility for all departments of the Medical Center in the absence of the CEO, COO, CNO, and Nursing Directors. Requires broad knowledge of clinical and administrative nursing standards and practices, and regulatory, licensure, and accrediting agency requirements and standards. All aspects of work performed are managed with discretion and independent judgement is required. Decision-making responsibility includes accountability for consequences and results. Minimum Education: Associate degree or diploma in Nursing. Preferred Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
