Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Safely operate, load, unload and deliver freight utilizing a small box truck or cargo van. Adhere to assigned routes and follow time sensitive schedules that require detailed attention. Maintain a strong commitment to safety. Ability to navigate surrounding areas using GPS and comfortable with scanning devices. Comfortable climbing into and out of vehicles repeatedly with no difficulties. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel the truck as needed; evaluate and report issues through the appropriate parties (dispatch/ managers). Clean, wash and sanitize assigned vehicles.

Sorting, scanning and movement of small packages within the warehouse. Buildup / Breakdown package containers ready for outbound/inbound flights. Removal of tie-downs and other gear when loading and unloading. Operate air freight handling equipment such as pallet jacks and gaylords (push carts). Weighing, labeling, or make/break-down of gaylords or air freight containers . Check air express containers for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate per air safety and security guidelines. Report to position on time, as scheduled, including mandatory overtime requirements, varying shifts, weekends, and holidays. Successfully complete required computer based and on the job trainings . Adhere to company policies, procedures, and performance standards . Perform all functions in accordance with safety procedures and policies. Work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather/elements, engine noise, and noxious fumes. Minimum Requirements • High School Diploma, GED or international equivalent required. • One-year experience in similar role preferred not required. • Valid Driver's license. • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays. Peak Season (November-December) may require longer hours. • Ability to read, write and understand the English language. • Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without, assistance of sight or visual aids. Preferred Skills • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday and Sunday), and holidays. • Ability to judge distances. • Ability to successfully communicate with others. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, multiple times a day. • Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures, rain, wind and snow. • Ability to stand for an entire shift and move long distances across our facilities by foot.
