In addition, you will be expected to utilize first aid, artificial respiration, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for visitors of all ages. Inspection of buoys, ropes, first aid equipment and supplies, and other safety equipment will be another essential function in order to ensure all items are in proper operating condition.

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Qualifications
Education and Experience
Master's Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field OR licensed nurse with a minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare environment or equivalent experience required. Prior experience in transcription or medical discharge summary preferred.

What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the logistics and distribution location.
Perform screening duties at entry and/or exit points, checking individuals and packages to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, site personnel, and visitors as needed.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including following directions from site leadership and first responders.
Minimum Requirements:
A guard card or security license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
