Responsibilities
Handle inbound and outbound customer calls, providing product information, scheduling consultations, and ensuring a positive experience.
Promote any and all of our products and services, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling where appropriate.
Achieve individual sales and customer experience performance targets, contributing to overall team success.
Accurately update and maintain customer records within our CRM platforms to ensure timely follow-up and documentation.
Assist with customer concerns, using effective problem-solving techniques and escalating when necessary.
Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate scheduling and ensure smooth service delivery across multiple product lines.
Develop product knowledge across all of our brand offerings to confidently answer questions and provide tailored recommendations.
Work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs.
Qualifications
1-2 years of call center or customer service experience, preferably in the home improvement or related industry.
Basic to intermediate proficiency with CRM systems (experience with i360 Lightning is a plus).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and deliver solutions.
Comfortable working toward sales goals in a performance-driven environment.
Good organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
Dependable and punctual, with a strong commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.

Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and locate mechanical deficiencies on Heavy Equipment. Come to logical conclusions and determine a repair solution based on education and experience. Source and order parts as needed.
Perform repair of mobile equipment in a field environment without supervision.
Perform welding and brazing, fabricate and modify parts, equipment, and miscellaneous structures as needed.
Repair and/or replace all components of engine hydraulic systems, air conditioning systems, suspension systems, drive trains, electrical systems, steering, braking, material handling, and operator comfort systems.
Thorough understanding of sense of urgency as it relates to customer satisfaction.
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required to maintain customer satisfaction.
Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.
Must comply with all applicable DOT Requirements.
Must be willing to travel and work remotely as required including overnight stays.
Must be decisive and able to recognize and support the organizations goals and priorities.
Qualifications
General knowledge of complex hydraulic, electrical, and drive-train systems.

Thorough understanding and knowledge of equipment operation.

Education and/or Experience
Minimum requirement of High School diploma or GED
Technical school graduate preferred
Experience with Volvo construction equipment a plus.

Must possess and maintain acceptable safe driving record.
Must be able to obtain DOT Medical Certification.
Communication Skills
Written communication skills required to document complaint, cause, and correction of completed repairs.
Ability to read and follow written instructions.
Must be able to effectively communicate with supervisor and customer indicating cause and correction of machine repair.

Complete on-the-job and classroom training in the mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components of the product line and associated repair / service procedures to be successful as a mobile tech.
Uphold Columbus Equipment Company safety commitment as well as any safety requirements of the customer.
Determine overall condition of machines through inspections and provide maintenance.
Diagnose issues with hydraulic and electrical systems.
Restore equipment to working order through component replacement and / or repair.
Exhibit positive and effective communication and interaction with other Columbus Equipment Company associates, vendors, and customers.
Keep current on record-keeping, parts ordering/inventory, basic contract provisions with respect to product warranties, and customer invoicing.
Utilize operators and parts & maintenance manuals in determining procedures and identifying parts.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years prior experience with repairing and maintaining Heavy Equipment.
Related experience: truck-mounted hydraulic utility equipment such as aerial devices, digger derricks, chippers, cranes, specialty equipment; construction, mining, or farm equipment such as dozers or tractors; military heavy equipment such as the MRAP vehicle, HMEE, or tanks; aircraft and aerospace or ground support equipment (AGE / GSE) repair.
Must possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong history of superior human relation skills.
Proficient computer and software skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
Physical Requirements

We are seeking an ambitious Sales Representative responsible for securing an assigned amount of profitable business for the Company through proper planning, adequate territorial coverage, effective sales presentations, and through administration and other required duties as specified by the Branch Vice President and/or Equipment Sales Manager.

Secures orders, conducts surveys of assigned territory, studies product population, locates new prospects, and determines needs.
Plans sales calls and conducts presentations.
Reviews equipment features and benefits of conducting business with the Company.
Assists customers with problems and issues which includes technical assistance, job estimates, and new developments.
Maintains customer relationships, new contracts, new product development, equipment literature and brochures, price sheets, etc.
Maintains sales calls, various reports, M3 Sales Automation.
Follows up on all leads, contract lettings, and inquiries.
Proficient in Cost/Production software.
Articulates and is educated in mining applications and able to provide valuable advice and recommendations to customers.
Expert on features of the full line of equipment of Rudd Equipment's offering.
Manages and controls travel, telephone usage, and entertainment expenses.
Informs manager of changes in territory which can affect Company's success.
Maintains a high degree of sales professionalism through study, product knowledge, and attending meetings and association activities.
Ensures equipment is delivered on a timely manner and all conditions in contract were met.
Works closely with Credit Manager and other personnel relating to condition of accounts.
Travels across territory to various training and meetings.
Completes Manufacturers required sales training courses.
Works in partnership with Rudd Product Support Representatives.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
College degree and/or a combination of education and equivalent experience
Minimum of (5) years of verifiable success in equipment sales
Knowledge of basic arithmetic
Must have the ability to accurately compare and transcribe figures
Knowledge and experience in sales, marketing, and/or business is essential
Must be able to prioritize work week and work independently
Must be very flexible and willing to travel
Individual must possess excellent customer service skills
Communication Skills
The ability to communicate effectively and to speak in front of large and small business groups
Must be proficient in English
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Computer Skills
Basic Computer skills to include MS Office Operating Systems, Expert level aptitude on M3 Sales Automation
Physical Demands
