The Experiential Learning Coordinator plays an essential role supporting the robust experiential learning programs offered at Champlain College. This position supports the logistics and advising of experiential learning programs including study abroad, internships, service-learning, co-ops and campus-based experiential opportunities. The Coordinator handles program logistics, student support, and coordination with campus and external partners, while supporting the Champlain Exchange, a unique experiential learning hub at Champlain College. Key Responsibilities: Student Support Serve as key point of contact for students exploring experiential learning opportunities including study abroad, internships, co-ops, service-learning, and studio-based coursework. Process internship and study abroad applications, employer partnership paperwork; maintain calendars, deadlines, and track student participation Ensure students are connected to the most relevant and effective experiential learning opportunities. Coordination and communication Build experiential learning awareness among all constituents, particularly among first and second-year students and faculty Draft and edit communications materials Promote and utilize Handshake and other relevant databases to develop a comprehensive catalog of experiential learning opportunities Develop asynchronous and self-service access to experiential learning prospects as well as personalized approaches Administrative and Faculty Support Collaborate with faculty to support experiential learning both internally and externally Provide administrative support including arranging meetings, making travel arrangements, collaborating on events, and handling information requests Track learning participation rates and help make assessments for improving future outcomes. We are seeking outstanding candidates with established research program and a commitment to medical education. We seek a PhD-level epidemiologist (or equivalent terminal degree) with postdoctoral training and a record of external funding, commensurate with career stage. The successful candidate will join the NIH-funded Translational Global Infectious Disease Research (TGIR) Center as a key faculty member and will have two primary responsibilities: * Establish and maintain an independent, externally funded research program in human infectious disease epidemiology that complements and enhances existing TGIR faculty expertise. * Direct and expand the TGIR Center's Human and Population Research (HPR) Core, which supports faculty conducting human and population-based research on globally important infectious diseases.     Job Description The Art Department at Middlebury College seeks Figure Models to pose nude for college-level studio art classes. Figure Models support the delivery of curricula, providing students with an opportunity to develop their visual art studies in a professional, controlled environment. Through working with Figure Models, students increase their perceptual skills; develop a deeper understanding of anatomy and proportion; and connect to histories of artistic production in order to create contemporary art. This is considered a part-time, hourly, non-benefits eligible position. The pay rate for this position is $25.00 per hour. Core Responsibilities: Models will pose nude for individual classes. Classes are three-hour periods with poses held up to 30-minute periods followed by 5-minute resting breaks. There is a 15-minute break midway through the class. Heaters, changing privacy, and cushions are provided. Classes are taking place on our Middlebury campus at the following times: Schedule A - Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:45 am -12:15 pm and 1:30 to 4:15pm and/or: Schedule B - Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:45am to 12:30pm and 1:30 pm-4:15 pm Requirements All body types and ages are welcome to apply. Previous figure modeling experience is preferred but not required; experienced professors will train new models. Sports, dance, theater, and modeling background is helpful, but not necessary. Be able to re-establish previously posed positions Demonstrate flexibility and animation of the human form. Punctuality in attending scheduled class meetings. Physical Demands: Be physically able to provide a full range of body gestures and poses, from quick gestures to longer, sustained poses as required by the instructor.
