Position Summary
The PT - Physical Therapist provides direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (2003 or later must have MSPT or DPT)
Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
One (1) year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred
CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc., to adequately plan for patient needs
Must demonstrate good body mechanics at all times

Job Description/Summary:
The Associate Dean of Academics plays a pivotal leadership role in advancing the academic mission of the College of Naturopathic Medicine. This position is responsible for ensuring programmatic excellence, fostering a supportive and inclusive educational environment, and guiding curriculum development to prepare graduates for professional success.
A key focus over the next several years will be supporting faculty in the implementation of a newly designed curriculum, and strategic incorporation of AI to enhance teaching and learning to support students and faculty. Curriculum Leadership & Educational Effectiveness
Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the new curriculum that integrates evidence-informed naturopathic medicine and philosophy.
Ensure curriculum alignment with accreditation standards and workforce competencies.
Oversee the didactic curriculum across all delivery formats (on-campus, hybrid, synchronous and asynchronous).
Collaborate with faculty and department chairs to review course scope, sequencing, and instructional methods.
Support continuous improvement through data-informed decision-making, including analysis of NPLEX performance, course evaluations, and student outcomes.
Teach courses as assigned
Collaborates with the Associate Dean of Clinical Education to ensure integration across courses.
Faculty Support & Development
Provide administrative leadership for faculty in the Divisions of Human Sciences and Therapeutics.
Facilitate faculty development initiatives, recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training.
Conduct direct observation of instruction and support faculty performance evaluations.
Promote evidence-based teaching strategies and inclusive pedagogical practices.
Student Success & Workforce Readiness
Champion initiatives that enhance student engagement, support, and academic success.
Develop educational programs and co-curricular activities that prepare students for clinical practice and professional roles.
Monitor and improve student performance on licensing exams and other key benchmarks.
Operational & Strategic Management
Manage division budgets effectively and align resources with strategic priorities.
Collaborate across departments to expand educational offerings and improve institutional effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
Participates in strategic planning for the program.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITY and SKILLS - Required
Must be at least 18 years old.
High school graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
Passion for working with youth.
Ability to multitask and adapt to Club's changing needs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and cooperative working skills.
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite and be comfortable adapting to new technology.
If 21 or older, maintains a valid driver's license and meets eligibility requirements to drive Club vehicles.
Safety oriented mindset.
Recommended:
Direct youth programming experience.
Ability to earn and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.
WORKING CONDITIONS and DRIVING:

This position is available due to growth and needs of the comumnity. Single practice. 60% Medicaid. Approximately 40% Private. General pediatrics age 0-18 year, well child, acute visits and complex health care needs. Outpatient and Inpatient.
