The Opportunity
Chaparral Medical Group is recruiting for an Interventional Cardiologist to join our team to deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care. You'll play a critical role in diagnosing, treating, and preventing cardiovascular disease while performing and interpreting advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care, supported by a well-established referral network, and help improve heart health outcomes in our community.

What You'll Do
Evaluate, diagnose and manage patient with wide array of cardiovascular diseases and conditions
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests including ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and other cardiac imaging
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic and acute cardiovascular issues.
Perform interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterization and angioplasty
Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans based on progress and evolving needs
Provide patient education on heart health, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care
Collaborate closely with internal medicine providers, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care
Maintain thorough and timely patient documentation in the EMR system
Participate in call rotations and provide emergency cardiology care as needed
Stay current with advancements in cardiology through continuing education, research, and peer collaboration
Contribute and advise on possible improvements to the EMR system, actively collaborating with the tech team on future product enhancements.
Who You Are
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution (required)
Successful completion of ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency, fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease, and sub-specialty fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology (required)
Board certified in Cardiovascular Disease as well as Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology
Must have a California medical license or be eligible for full, unrestricted licensure by the time of hire (required)
Demonstrate strong diagnostic and interventional clinical skills (required)
Experience with cardiac imaging and interventional procedures such as cardiac catheterization, percutaneous intervention (required)

The Opportunity
The Clinic Site Manager reports directly to the Director and plays a pivotal role in coordinating all patient services throughout the medical facility. The Opportunity
Are you driven to build the systems that keep healthcare running seamlessly? As a Provider Enrollment Specialist, you'll be part of our credentialing/provider enrollment team to ensure providers are credentialed and enrolled quickly and accurately with health plans and hospitals - so patients always have uninterrupted access to care.
Credentialing/enrollment activities on this team include:

What You'll Do

Solve enrollment-related issues as they arise, working directly with health plans to get them resolved.
Monitor application timelines to prevent delays and resolve escalated issues from staff, clinics, and providers.

Follow SOPs and policies that are designed to streamline workflows and strengthen compliance.
Maintain compliance with the state, federal, and payer-specific credentialing requirements.
Act as a liaison for external partners, including payers, hospitals, and credentialing verification organizations.
Who You Are
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (preferred).
3+ years of experience in provider credentialing/enrollment.
Strong knowledge of NCQA standards, payer requirements, and credentialing best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to resolve escalated issues.
Exceptional organization skills, with sharp attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally and with external stakeholders.

What You'll Do

What You'll Do:
Provide frontline care to patients experiencing homelessness, behavioral health challenges, serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and complex chronic conditions, including patients transitioning from incarceration.
Manage diverse patient panels by delivering acute, chronic and preventative care directly in the field,
Conduct patient assessment, gather histories, perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostics, and prescribe treatment under physician supervision.
Report to the supervising physician, working closely to address atypical and complex patient cases, while exercising independent judgement within state regulations and scope of practice.
Design and implement care plans that support patients as they work toward stability and improved health outcomes.
Collaborate daily with multidisciplinary team - physician, nurses, social workers, outreach staff to prioritize and coordinate care.
Document all encounters to maintain accurate, up-to-date records for continuity of care.

Ability to travel up to 75% of work time: Valid CA Driver's License, reliable and insured vehicle

What You'll Do

Required:

A Medical Scribe is responsible for documenting patient encounters in real-time during clinical visits. The Opportunity

Who you are
Required
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Successful completion of ACGME accredited residency program in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Physician Associate (Physician Assistant) to join Akido's Street Medicine team in Los Angeles County and help redefine how healthcare is delivered to the most vulnerable populations. Street Medicine is rapidly becoming a specialty of its own, and at Akido you'll be at the forefront of this change and combining hands-on care with our AI driven tools. Candidates with experience and/or interest in public health, home care, social work or other outpatient experience working with vulnerable populations are particularly well suited for this role.
What You'll Do:
Provide frontline care to patients experiencing homelessness, behavioral health challenges, serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and complex chronic conditions, including patients transitioning from incarceration.
Manage diverse patient panels by delivering acute, chronic and preventative care directly in the field,
Conduct patient assessment, gather histories, perform physical exams, order and interpret diagnostics, and prescribe treatment under physician supervision.
Report to the supervising physician, working closely to address atypical and complex patient cases, while exercising independent judgement within state regulations and scope of practice.
Design and implement care plans that support patients as they work toward stability and improved health outcomes.
Collaborate daily with multidisciplinary team - physician, nurses, social workers, outreach staff to prioritize and coordinate care.
Document all encounters to maintain accurate, up-to-date records for continuity of care.

Who You Are:
Comfortable providing direct care in outdoor, field-based settings, under dynamic and unpredictable conditions.
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to understand and adjust effectively to patients' needs and the surrounding community, while working collaboratively with members of the health care team, and the street-medicine professional network.
Ability to travel up to 75% of work time: Valid CA Driver's License, reliable and insured vehicle
Ability to maintain independent clinical judgement within scope of practice and regulations, while recognizing when to involve a physician.
Ability to lead, prioritize and analyze clinical workflows, objectives and team goals.
Ability to direct and coordinate clinical support staff.
Preferred qualifications:
Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred
