RESPONSIBILITIES

Ordination, rostering, or licensing as a religious leader or recognized lay leader in his/her faith tradition or equivalent, or current approval or candidacy for such by his/her respective faith tradition is required. Current approval for ordination or rostering, candidacy for ordination or rostering or denominational endorsement by his/her respective faith tradition is required.
Two units of Clinical Pastoral Education from an accredited ACPE (Association for Clinical Pastoral Education) center is required. Preference given for three or more units.

Knowledge of theology, scriptural studies, counseling skills, comparative religions, canonical law, and church practices. General understanding of human behavior and the health care field is desirable.
