RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Navy Chaplain, your job spans a broad range of duties. You will support fellow servicemembers during their most joyful and most difficult moments. Your responsibilities might be to:
Conduct worship services in a variety of settings
Perform religious rites and ceremonies such as weddings, funeral services and baptisms
Counsel individuals who seek guidance
Oversee religious education programs, such as Sunday school and youth groups
Visit and provide spiritual guidance and care to hospitalized personnel and their family members
Train lay leaders who conduct religious education programs
Promote attendance at religious services, retreats and conferences
Advise leaders at all levels regarding morale, ethics and spiritual well-being

Summary:
This temporary (15 month) position performs patient care by assessing patient physical and functional abilities. Abbington of Arlington Assisted Living is located on Old Henderson Road in Northwest Columbus, just west of Kenny Road. The neighborhood primarily consists of single family homes with dining, shopping and recreation nearby. A great location!
We are seeking a second shift fulltime RA. Our community is a friendly, well trained and homelike assisted living environment. We strive to create a nurturing home for our residents. Experience working with Geriatrics and Senior populations is preferred.
RA's provide care for all Activities of Daily Living. Assist in showering, dressing, grooming, the dining room meal service, complete resident laundry and do general housekeeping. Open positions are for second shift 3pm-11pm, 8 hours with paid lunch and breaks. Salary Range from $16-19 per hour based on experience. We pay biweekly with merit based annual pay increases. Merit Based and referral bonuses are offered.
Job duties include, direct care for residents under the guidance of our Service Coordinator and Executive Director in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Assisted Living Facility. These responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting with activities of daily living.
Assist in daily tasks such as dressing, grooming, showering, dining, laundry and general house keeping.
Communicate with residents, families, staff and visitors with professionalism and respect.
Responsibility to our residents includes communicating with respect and empathy to preserve their dignity.
Responsibility to fellow employees to collaborate and foster team work in our community.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely implementation of resident care plans.
Participate in shift change meetings with incoming staff on next shift.
Uphold resident confidentiality and communicate health-related information within established guidelines.
Participate in resident care assessments, document observations, and report changes in condition to nursing staff, Service Coordinator or Executive Director promptly.
Report all falls, injuries, changes in resident health promptly following state and company requirements.

Must be willing to work 32 hours or more a week including weekends to be considered full time.

We're looking for a compassionate Hospice Chaplain to provide non-denominational spiritual and emotional support to patients and families facing end-of-life care. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll help ensure that no one walks this path alone.
What You'll Do as a Hospice Chaplain:
Provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and caregivers in alignment with their beliefs and values.
Offer non-denominational, inclusive care that respects all faiths, spiritual traditions, and cultural backgrounds.
Serve as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, participating in patient care conferences and collaborating with nurses, social workers, aides, and medical staff.
Assess spiritual needs of patients and families and develop individualized spiritual care plans.
Conduct visits, prayers, blessings, and rituals as appropriate and requested by the patient or family.
Assist families during times of grief, loss, or transition, and provide bereavement support and counseling.
Build relationships with local faith leaders and community resources to support patients' and families' unique spiritual needs.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation of spiritual assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
About You The candidate must meet one of the following educational requirements:
Bachelor's degree in theology, religion, human services, counseling, psychology, or sociology (or as required by state-specific regulations)
A minimum of one unit of ACPE-accredited Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
Note: Degrees from accredited institutions are preferred. If a degree is from a non-accredited college or university, AVPO approval is required prior to hire.
Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in counseling, psychology, theology, or divinity from an accredited college or university
Two years of active work in spiritual care ministry/program, one unit of pastoral education (per state requirements, if indicated), and demonstrated ability to work with patients, families, and community spiritual leaders of various denominations/beliefs is required.
Three years of active work in hospice spiritual care support and one year of clinical pastoral education is preferred.
