RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Navy Chaplain, your job spans a broad range of duties. You will support fellow servicemembers during their most joyful and most difficult moments. Your responsibilities might be to:

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
As a Chaplain Clinician you will minister to the staff, patients, and families of Methodist Healthcare System, serving as a professional chaplain staff employee of the institution. **What qualifications you will need:**
+ Master's or higher degree in theological studies from a college, university or theological school accredited by a member of the council of Higher Education Accreditation or its equivalent (72 hours of theological studies from an accredited program).
+ Documentation of completed 1 unit (400 hours) of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) as accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE), the Conference of Catholic Bishops Commission on Certification and Accreditation, or the Canadian Association for Pastoral Practice and Education (CAPPE/ACPEP); one unit may be an equivalency. If an equivalency is provided, the burden of proof is on the employee to show the equivalent was approved by their individual professional organizations according to their own established guidelines.

POSITION SUMMARY
Clinical Pastoral Education Resident is responsible for Christian ministry to the spiritual and emotional, and relational health needs of all patients, families, and staff regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, or religious preference. Job Summary:
Bloom Healthcare, a Colorado leader in population health management, home-based primary care, and hospice, is seeking a Chaplain to join our growing Hospice Team and work 7-10 visits per month. The hospice chaplain provides spiritual care and comfort to terminally ill patients, as well as their families and loved ones in an interfaith approach. Care is in the form of spiritual counseling, prayer, devotional ritual, and grief and loss support. Hospice Chaplain Responsibilities:

Demonstration of expertise in spiritual assessment and counseling, and in concepts of death and dying issues.
Knowledge of concepts and issues for dying for adults and children. Current Colorado driver's license and automobile insurance.
Hospice Chaplain Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in divinity, theology or related field.
Previous hospice experience.
Bilingual abilities, a plus.
