The Hampden County Sheriff's Office is seeking a caring, compassionate Interfaith Chaplain to provide spiritual and pastoral care to the justice-involved population at our Western Massachusetts Regional Women's Correctional Center (WCC), and facilitate their opportunity to pursue their individual spiritual beliefs and practices. The Interfaith Chaplain provides and coordinates spiritual services including worship, education, counseling, direction, support, and crisis intervention for the diverse needs of the WCC population. The Interfaith Chaplain's role is to be a non-judgmental, caring influence in the lives of all individuals, as well as a visible model of respect and sensitivity for each person in spiritual need, assuring equal status and protection for all religions.
