What You Will Be Doing
ChargePoint is looking for an experienced Power Electronics Controls and Firmware Engineer with more than seven years of hands-on expertise in developing embedded firmware for power control applications. The preferred candidate will excel as an individual contributor supporting our rapid growth. Advanced skills in writing C code for microcontrollers, DSPs, as well as FPGAs. Candidates with a background in power electronics systems and familiarity with renewable energy, electric vehicle charging, or energy storage technologies are highly valued. What you'll do:
The Supply Chain Network Planner is a leading role in the integrated, intelligent and agile supply chain organization, focusing on the full SIOP horizon including execution ( 0-36 months).
The Network Planner is responsible for demand-supply balancing for their value stream and provides insights on demand at risk for their portfolio. What you'll do:
* Instruct, and demonstrate expertise, around the commissioning and maintenance of electrical power distribution products and assemblies, including power circuit breakers, motor control centers, unit substations and power transformers, and protective relays.

Utilize power topologies such at LLC, phase shifted full bridge, flyback, forward, multi-level converters including PFC (single phase and three phase) and associated techniques such as ZVS/ZCS

**What you'll do:**
This position will be responsible for winding transformer coils used in electrical equipment and instruments or as electronic components. Coils are built according to wiring diagrams, sample coil, or work order, using coil-winding machines and hand tools. Reviews diagrams and work order or examines sample coil to ascertain type and size of wire specified, and type, size, length, circumference, and primary and secondary windings of coil to be wound.
**In this function you will:**
- Wind standard coils for dry type transformers
- Perform welding and/or brazing to join bus bars to foil
- Utilize hook-up/hot work assembly tools to meet production demands
- Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to production quality standards related to coil dimension, bus bar location, etc.
- Maintain a minimum of 80% of productivity time standards
- Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics and blueprints
- Keep all work areas clean, organized and presentable
- Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations

**What you'll do:**
This position is responsible for overall leadership and supervision of the Engineering Test Lab (ETL) function. - Support bid and proposal efforts as necessary
- Development and implementation of processes and tools for engineering tasks consistent with industry best practices. Monitoring to assure adherence to defined processes
- Manage a team of, technicians, engineers, and/or support personnel to deliver high quality technical output on time. Provide technical advice and guidance to this team. Participate in periodic audits, as they relate to the test lab and NPD programs, such as AS9100 and ACES for Mechanical LRU development and applicable engineering procedures and instructions
- Create opportunities for growth and development for team members. Performance manage and coach high and low performers on the team effectively
- Continuous improvement of resource management, productivity, and first-pass quality. Use of tools including Design for Six Sigma to achieve that end. Budgeting and resource planning
- Author and maintain processes and procedures related to ETL, ensuring adherence to these procedures. Collaborate with other Eaton labs to develop consistent practices, procedures, etc. and actively participate in ACES lab process development.
- Development of organizational capability/capacity and engineering/technical skills among staff to support the site and organization operating unit strategy. Maintenance of appropriate training programs to assure continuous learning.
- Develop and deliver ETL budget, material, and resource planning to both engineering leadership team and site leadership team. Coordinate with other site functional leaders to ensure clear and consistent communication regarding material planning, budget, etc. Identify risks and opportunities in these areas.
- Support and execution of site operating unit engineering initiatives. Participation in site engineering leadership team and in strategic planning.
