Job Description
The Role
We are looking for a skilled person to provide reliable, skilled, and thorough technical assistance on computer systems. This role requires a strong understanding of various IT systems, hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. The right person will not be afraid to hop on the phone or interface in person, depending on the need, with our in-house employees to resolve or escalate their needs accordingly.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent work experience
Working knowledge of Office 365 products and how to resolve issues
Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and Windows OS
Experience with hardware installs

The Role:

Primary Responsibilities

Charlies Produce is looking to add an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join their team in South Seattle. We are looking for a professional person who is attentive to details such as being to work on time, a team player, and willing to work hard.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties Include, but Are Not Limited To:
Preventative maintenance / Diagnosing and running repairs on a variety of equipment from Tractors, Trailers, Lit gates, Reefers and Yard goats.
Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate and complete repairs.
R&R Truck components including Engine, transmissions, axles, brakes, lift gates, etc..
Engine / Transmission diagnose A/C repair Electrical -- charging / starting / lighting / suspension and Steering repair
Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy diesel engines, machines and related systems, including Lift gate hydraulics and transmissions.
Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
Work on and maintain Refrigeration trailers and Box trucks.
Completes required paperwork associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience
Knowledgeable in the diagnosis and repair of all makes of electronic controlled diesel engines. Fleet experience is a must.
Must have mechanical and diagnostic knowledge and/or experience in diesel engines and refrigeration units.
Must have basic welding skills and knowledge of TIG, MIG and stick welding.
Must have ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
Ability to read/follow technical manuals & verbal instructions alike.
Comfortable with the use of factory scan tools.
Have a professional mechanics toolbox.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Cummins and Detroit Certifications.
Reefer maintenance experience.
Class A is a plus, Class B preferred.

* Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Sales, Operations, and Marketing to support category execution, forecasting, inventory management, and customer-facing initiatives.

Qualifications

The Role
As a member of our team, you will focus on typical facilities maintenance. This role is responsible to maintain, repair, disassemble and troubleshoot on a variety of equipment. Occasionally will assist with install and maintain heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration equipment, duct work and accessories at various commercial projects for the company's Seattle locations.

Provides feedback on developing safety initiatives and plans to eliminate exposures that could cause accidents.
SECONDARY DUTIES
Become familiar with current Mechanical Codes and apply practical job performance.
Participating in continuing education training to career growth model.
Assist in maintaining assigned company vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications
Must have 1+ years of previous building maintenance and facilities experience.
Previous experience and working knowledge of refrigeration repair/maintenance.
Must have valid drivers License with Clean 3 Year Driving History.
Ability to work OT as requested by management to complete special projects.
Ability to lift up to 75bs frequently.
Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse up to 4 hours at a time.
Ability to work in the outdoor elements as the job needs arise.
Basic experience with Carpentry, Electrical, or Plumbing.

This role is for picking full case produce orders onto a pallet utilizing a “hands free” voice pick headset system while operating a riding pallet jack. These orders are picked with product integrity in mind and are wrapped and staged upon completion for delivery to the customer. We strive to maintain a safe warehouse environment while specializing in building organized orders with attention to quality and accuracy while meeting all food safety programs. This is a steady paced position that requires a standard of a certain pieces per hour which is easily within reach for candidates that are hired on.
Qualifications
Here are a few things to be ready for (and don't forget we will train and certify you):
Pick orders in English via headset using a voice pick system with attention to accuracy - each user trains to their unique voice and this is an easy process to learn
Organize the orders on pallets as you pick with integrity to the product (i.e. organic - fragile - etc.)
Operate equipment - riding pallet jack which we take the time to be sure everyone is safe to operate
Follow food safety quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment, 35-56 degrees
Ability to speak, understand, read, and write in intermediate level English
Ability to lift up to 65lbs frequently
Ability to work without direct supervision and to prioritize activities
Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
