Founded in 1923 as the Charlotte Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, CEENTA has grown to become one of the largest multispecialty practices of its kind on the East Coast, so patients don’t have to travel to receive top-quality care.
They eventually convinced the other doctors to try their plan, and in 1985, CEENTA’s second office – Pineville – opened.
In 1992, CEENTA’s clinical research department, Southeast Clinical Research Associates, LLC, was established to conduct phase I-IV clinical research trials on eye and ear, nose, and throat disorders.
In 1995, at the age of 66, Doctor Kreshon decided to retire.
