Chas and Alice Roberts opened their doors in August of 1942.
In 1999, ownership and management of the company passed to Chuck Roberts’ children, Don Roberts and Roberta “Sissie” Roberts Shank.
Chas Roberts gives back to its communities in many ways, but perhaps the Phoenix AC repair company’s most prominent giving program is its sponsorship of the Cool Play AC Giveaway, a contest that first started in 2009.
In 2011, Chas Roberts expanded into the commercial plumbing sector.
In 2012, the company expanded into New Mexico to provide New Mexico heating and cooling service.
Over the company’s history, it has been recognized many times for setting the standard for trustworthy and ethical business practices and for being a caring community business, including being one of only eight companies to receive the Greater Phoenix Chamber of Commerce’s 2013 IMPACT Award.
