Reporting into the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for supporting plant operations by maintaining and repairing machinery, equipment, and infrastructure used in rubber processing and production. This role plays a key part in ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of extruders, mixers, presses, and other rubber manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate brings strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electrical knowledge, and a proactive attitude toward preventive maintenance and safety. Primary Responsibilities: Perform preventive maintenance on rubber manufacturing equipment, including extruders, mills, mixers, calenders, and curing presses. Pressure Vessel Welder-Level III Qualifications: * At least 5+ years' experience in MIG and TIG welding of pipe or pressure vessels (certified experience). * Experience and certification in welding in accordance to ASME standard. * Ability to read and apply WPS, read drawings, and teach others to do so. * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fitting and welding components. * Strong aptitude for problem solving and teamwork. * Methodical, organized, and precise. * Proactive in proposing solutions. The Production Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machines and tools to produce precision parts, instruments, and finished products. Includes precision instrument work to fabricate, and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines. This role is located in Coldwater, OH and will be fully on-site. Starting Pay: $26.51/hr. Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 2nd Shift (5:00 pm - 3:00 am) or 3rd Shift (9:00 pm - 7:00 am) Pay Schedule: Weekly Responsibilities Production Machinist Responsibilities: * Load and down load programs from disk * Setup all gages for job * Able to use all precision gages * Set machine up and load new tooling * Touch off new tooling in machine * Run program in graphics and notice obvious mistakes * Make necessary offset in tool data * Basic understanding of tolerances Production Machinist Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED required. * 1-3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing or production environment * Ability to set up, operate, and adjust manual and/or CNC machines * Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and dial indicators * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions * Commitment to safe work practices * Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities Qualifications Wieland is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
