Responsibilities Include: Lead, plan, and manage all functions of the revenue cycle, including registration, coding, billing, accounts receivable, and collections. Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow, reduce denials, and improve days in A/R. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and payer billing regulations, including HIPAA and CMS guidelines. Oversee payer contracting, credentialing, and reimbursement rate analysis. Lead, train, and develop revenue cycle staff, promoting accountability and continuous improvement. Evaluate and implement technology solutions (EHR, billing software, clearinghouses) to enhance efficiency. Serve as the main point of contact for payers, auditors, and external revenue management vendors. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of medical billing, coding (CPT/ICD -10), payer rules, and reimbursement methodologies. Proven track record of improving collections and reducing A/R days.
