Hours: Full-time (Monday-Friday) PRIMARY PURPOSE The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMH-NP) provides compassionate, supportive, patient focused psychiatric treatment to adolescents and adults in an outpatient setting per an integrated model of care for patients of Lorain County Health & Dentistry (LCH&D). The PHM-NP is expected to work in collaboration with LCH&D primary care providers (including those who provide Medication Assisted Treatment), behavioral health providers, and other LCH&D staff. The PMH-NP will refer to external providers and treatment facilities, as appropriate, when patient needs exceed LCH&D services. At LCH&D, in the spirit of teamwork, the PMH-NP is expected to respond timely to consultative requests, or other requests for input and expertise, from primary care or behavioral health providers.
