We have an opportunity for a Chemical Engineer to join our Dover, NH team. You will design and develop water filtration components and systems working closely with manufacturing and sales in developing ideas for new water filtration products and innovations and their design implementation.
You will:
Design water filters and related parts and utility products, according to design control procedures.Redesign and improve products.Coordinate test filters, filter cartridges, and other components.Design, execute, review, and interpret experiments to make recommendations toward the filtration new products development strategy, and provide guidance and mentorship to others Build, test, and evaluate prototypes of new products.Cost reduction of existing products through material savings or process improvements.Engineer and design equipment and processes for pilot and production operations as required.

Key Qualifications:
B.S. Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited institution.3+ years of experience in an engineering capacity with demonstrated ability to design and develop complex products.Demonstrated the ability to identify root cause of issues and bring design and/or process solutions to the table.Highly detail oriented, organized and organizationally agile individual preferred.Knowledge of NSF, FDA compliant materials, or hygienic or medical devices is strongly preferred.Ideal candidate has experience with carbon filters and technology. Previous work experience in the water or water treatment industry.

What you'll do in this role:
The primary purpose of this position is to perform work which involves general engineering methods and tools; but you may also utilize more advanced technologies and engineering concepts while you are developing in your role as an engineer in the medical device industry.
