What Does A Chemical Operator Do At Kelly Services

* The job role requires a strong troubleshooting ability, the ability to make decisions quickly, a flexible work schedule to complete a set of given experiments, keeping up with appropriate documentation of experiments, attention to detail to understand the process, and participating in safety related programs such as safety checks and proper PPE.
* Schedule:
* Will work either 12 hour day or night shifts, 4 days a week on a 24/4 schedule.
* Some general maintenance of the reactor may be required.
* There is potential for overtime in the role

* Packs and weighs or measures material into containers, and labels these containers.
* Records information as required to insure inventory accuracy as it pertains to store room operations.

* Moves materials within the plant, verifying and recording part numbers, lots, quantities, locations, work order numbers, etc., using manual and automatic materials handling equipment including fork lift trucks as required to insure accurate locating and issuing of raw materials.

* Clean or assist in cleaning process equipment as necessary.
* Takes inventories and performs as required other duties incidental to the position.

* Keeps equipment in good working condition by checking batteries, calibrating meters and scales, etc.
